Puts it all into perspective really doesn’t it...

Yes they were good times.

HeyDuggeesCakeBadge · 14/03/2020 09:13

Ahhhhh Brexit, good times.

Outtedagain · 14/03/2020 09:14

It’s in writing on here, feel free to revisit anytime Grin

DonnaDarko · 14/03/2020 09:14

The good old days 😂

PleaseStopCrying · 14/03/2020 09:16

Things you never thought you would read or idly wonder. Blush

Unhomme · 14/03/2020 09:17

Dont worry. Those times havent gone too far...

YeOldeTrout · 14/03/2020 09:22

lol

Movinghouseatlast · 14/03/2020 09:24

That made me laugh!

Lifeisgenerallyfun · 14/03/2020 09:26

Well it proves one thing. All those fuckers who made out they had a crystal ball and could see the future under either leave or remain were all frauds!!

severalboxes · 14/03/2020 09:27

I think the dehumanisation of EU citizens in the brexit campaign paved the way for the dehumanisation of the old and sick we're seeing now...

Plus prepare to see them sneak out bad news when cv is hogging the headlines.

Not nostalgic for brexit, the people in charge are dangerous.

DruryLanePenance · 14/03/2020 09:29

Exactly as @severalboxes said.

chomalungma · 14/03/2020 09:34

I think the past few weeks has shown what would have happened if we had No Deal - and food shortages....

Would people have remained calm with the Blitz spirit?

Still, looks like Johnson still wants negotiations done and a deal done by the end of the year.

Chesntoots · 14/03/2020 09:41

That's exactly what my hairdresser said yesterday!!

She is fed up of the current topic of conversation....

Hmmmm88 · 14/03/2020 09:42

My DH keeps saying bring back Brexit 😂

FusionChefGeoff · 14/03/2020 09:47

But it has sort of started healing the rift a bit, no? The 'uniting against a common enemy' theory?

bellinisurge · 14/03/2020 09:47

Being called a snake over Brexit on here. Being called fucking mental over being a general prepper on here.
All happy days.

chomalungma · 14/03/2020 09:52

But it has sort of started healing the rift a bit, no? The 'uniting against a common enemy' theory

I always said we need something to unite the world - my thought was an alien invasion from space Grin

HuntIdeas · 14/03/2020 10:01

Don’t get me wrong, I was sick to the back teeth of all the circular discussions and rifts it was causing. But at least it was all theoretical, not life or death like now

bellinisurge · 14/03/2020 10:02

It's good the government did all that No Deal planning. Because they are deploying it now.

longwayoff · 14/03/2020 10:18

Don't fret, nostalgics, plenty of blame and bitching ahead. May I suggest it gets started with 'what about EU emergency funding for Corvid? Where's our share? We didn't vote for this etc.' But there will be plenty to choose from.

Winterwoollies · 14/03/2020 10:31

Same. Who’d have thunk it, eh? Brexit depressed me, but the constant Sky alerts didn’t make me feel uneasy, like the Corona ones are determined to do.

chomalungma · 14/03/2020 10:38

Still, at least experts are back in fashion now....

SilverySurfer · 14/03/2020 10:42

Ah yes, I remember those days fondly, being called racist and thick as pig shit Hmm
