To want to do a ouija board?

I’ve tried to prove to myself that ghosts exist for years. I’ve stayed in “haunted hoteld”, travelled to “ the most haunted island” etc and nothing has ever happened.

I want to do a ouija board ... as final proof that the supernatural does not exist but nobody will do one with me, not even people m that “don’t believe” or people that “want to believe” etc

I’ve done one on my own but nothing happened. AIBU for wanting someone to just humour me with this?

I've never done a oujia board myself, but I am open minded and think we can't say something definitely exists or doesn't exist unless there's 100% proof.

A couple of people I know have fooled around with them in their youth, and these people are not the type to bullshit and make up lies. The first person said they used one while camping on a school trip, the board supposedly was taken over and spelled out a name. He said the group were all in tears with fright, and crying, but the thing was moving without anyone putting force on it. The creepy thing is they went to the village church the next day and found a death record with the name of the person who was spelled out on the board ConfusedConfusedConfused

The second person also used a board as a teenager. She said the glass they were using moved by itself and slide off the table with force, shattering on the floor. She never used it again.

‘In their youth’ is the key term in both your anecdotes, @dittoditto — kids are suggestible, unusually prone to group hysteria especially in sleepover situations, and liable to misremember things as far more dramatic than they were. What’s more likely — that Supernatural Entities were summoned by some clueless kids camping (despite the fact that no ouija board use has ever done anything of the kind under test conditions), or that a glass accidentally smashed, and some kid noted a name in the graveyard, spelled it out on the ouija board for a spooky thrill, then brought the group to ‘discover’ it accidentally the next day?

Nothing really to worry about as long as you are respectful to the spirits

The spirits? A PP said they weren't spirits but entities. Now I'm confused.

Well OP? Did you or didn't you?
What happened?

I'm another from the 'not on your nelly' brigade 🔮
