We’re still going and I’m still swimming (37 weeks pregnant). Official advice is that it won’t spread in the water. Changing rooms are a bit of a worry but they are grim at the best of times so I’m being more careful there.

On waterbabies, my DC has loved it from day one and is so confident in the water and almost swimming independently. I couldn’t fault it (apart from the insane price).

@Cremebrule It definitely depends on the teacher. The first one we had was great; our new teacher is much stricter.

We've been in the school pool this week
Still open as usual for children & adults

I got that email too, I’ll still be going for now. I LOVE waterbabies, when I see the kids in the class before DS’s (Who I guess are 3ish)- they seem amazing, lots can swim independently already. Whereas my older child (who did council lessons for years but not waterbabies) is nowhere near as confident or skilled in the water.

I wouldn't go, it is being close to other people in the pool and changing rooms that is the problem, not the water itself.

@NC2020 ours is at a special needs schools hydro pool too. Ours is usually a Saturday morning but has been cancelled this week as the school are not allowing any one other than their students into the school currently. Also after chapter one the photo shoot doesn’t come up anymore, we’re in chapter three now. Wonder if the school yours is at will take the same approach? No word about refunds or extra sessions yet though.

I think we are weeks away from Italy so I think YABU ... protect the grandparents!
