To worry

I'm sure they are fairly safe as babies may get hold of them but....

I just took a big mouthful of water out of my glass. Swallowed it then thought my mouth tastes of chemicals. Started trying to make sense of what it was. Then my 5 year old confesses she had put a baby wipe in it to wet it and wipe her doll. So she squeezed the wipe moisture into my drink.

I take it I'm going to be ok? I'm alone with the kids tonight. They are Pampers baby fresh.

This is a ridiculous post and can't believe I'm writing it but it's happened!

You’ll be fine. If they were toxic they wouldn’t be allowed near babies! My son had a weird obsession with sucking them as a toddler.

Well, my 7 month old DS tried to eat one earlier while I was changing his nappy. He seemed fine other than being annoyed that I removed it so I'm sure you'll be okay too.

You are right to be worried. You may turn into a baby. If you notice any of your extremities shrinking, please call 999 immediately!

Is this a joke?

Molliemoo32 · 13/03/2020 20:53

Haha thanks. I did feel a dick writing it. But I don't know what chemicals are in it. After tasting that I can't believe anyone would enjoy eating them lol

Not a joke! She squeezed the wipe into my water and it tasted of chemicals.

I’m seriously starting to despair. Do you honestly think baby wipes of all things will have dangerous chemicals in them?!

BodiesMakeForGoodFertiliser · 13/03/2020 20:56

But I don't know what chemicals are in it.
It's on a packaging
