Will I be wasting NHS times?

Firstly, apologies for posting here but will get more of a response.
So, my gran, who is in her mid 90s yet independent, had a fall yesterday. She bumped her head, grazed her knee and fell on her hand. She refused any fuss and went home.
Today I find out about this and try and encourage her to get looked at. She has refused saying she doesn't like to make a fuss. My dad has visited her and tried to no avail also.
He has just sent me this photo on the sly of her hand (the right one) and I'm concerned by the swelling.
AIBU to kidnap her and take her to the hospital? She says it's itchy today and she hasn't got much movement in it.
I might just add when I said I'd take her in the morning, she said "ooh no, I've got a hair appointment"!

Glad to hear it @Square82, I’ve been wondering how she was getting on. Hopefully all will be minor and easily fixed. And yes, at least her hair looks good Wink

Glad she’s getting looked after. Enjoy your wild Saturday night 😂

Colles fracture?

Morning all
Sorry I don't reply, it was a very long day.
The head scan came back showing signs of deterioration that is normal and to be expected of a lady who will be 96 on Tuesday Smile
HB levels were low. Back on iron tablets. Also suspected slow bleeding from ulcers she possibly may have as she is already on Lansoprazol. So GP appt Monday for referral to gastro team.
And the hand.....well, fractures in her index finger. Taped up and fracture clinic Tuesday......her birthday!! She told me she's cancelled because she's going for a meal with her friend.
If anything positive came out of this, it's how we all unite in times of trouble. It was like the apocalypse in the hospital. At the most there was 6 people in a&e. Nurses are greeting patients at the door.
And thank you to you people on here. Compassion, empathy and kindness in abundance.

Sounds like it wasn’t too traumatic for you all.
Hope your gran has a lovely birthday on Tuesday FlowersCake
