My dsis is visiting so Iv made cocktails. First two went down quickly (mojito type drinks) so made a pitcher. Strawberry fizz with about half alcohol. Sterilising my insides!

I was in a similar place a few years ago Mammy. Focus on yourself right now and the right person may come along (and if not then you're at least doing things for yourself). I've been married to DH for 2 years now and he's so much better than arsehole ex and has been an amazing stepfather too, but he came along just as I had given up on looking for someone and was focusing on myself. I went to an event that had been covided off, but I didn't get a cancellation email. Invited to join another event that was going on, ate a pile of smoked salmon, half a bottle of prosecco followed by a couple of glasses of a really nice chablis when the bubbles got a bit much.
Went to leave, had a bottle of wine pressed on me to take home, found a nice coffee lounge on my way out of the building (the 'event' had been rather short on water and non alcoholic drinks).
