How long does a refund take from a card machine?!

Posting for traffic.

Ripped off by £88 at a acupuncture place, they didn't realise they'd taken the payment 3 times apparently, I looked at my bank statement and saw it immediately and rang them.

Went in for a refund yesterday, got a refund receipt. How long does it take to go back on to your card?

It depends but could be a few days, it's up to the card processer, nothing that the retailer can control.
