To ask what's cheered you up today

Feeling miserable at 32 weeks pregnant and need some positive vibes. What's made you smile / happy / laugh today?

My pig-headed manager has phoned in sick so he's not up my arse and on my nerves as he usually is which is fantastic. Nearly weed with excitement when I was told he wouldn't be in.

He suggested I go to site a couple of weeks ago to dig a metre by metre trench, and when I reminded him I was almost 8 months pregnant his response was "you're not sick, you're not disabled, you're pregnant".

Have a poorly DC and have been in and out of hospital for the last two weeks.

Popped into a shop in the way to ask if they had any cleaning wipes or hand gel anywhere as I have been doubly cleaning the equipment DC has been using at the hospital.

Another customer overheard and offered me the half a bottle of hand sanitizer they had left in their car.

I declined as I did still have some left of my own but I really appreciated the offer.

Doing my weekly shop in Asda this morning and listening to two women who didn't know each other discussing how many bottles of hand wash they should be taking when there's only about 8 left on the shelf. One lady was grabbing a few bottles and the other woman just wanted one and clearly wanted to lynch the other one for it. I started laughing and had to walk off.

The only cheerful thing is a cup of tea so far! Just listening to the hail and rain outside and thinking about putting on the heating.

Tea's gone cold so time for a fresh one

When I saw all 4 of the blokes I'm flirting with From online dating at the moment, all 'typing' simultaneously on WhatsApp.

Watching my rabbits skipping around the garden, enjoying the sunshine.

My lovely friend offering to pick my ds up from nursery, take him for a walk around the woods and then drop him off. It's given me my first few hours free in nearly 6 weeks and I don't know what to do with myself!

I've got an unexpected day off work and I'm planning on doing some baking.

It's actually sunny outside.

My boss wasn't at work last night so he wasn't stressing me out by being a twat.

My 19month old telling me he was hiding in the kitchen cupboard but on closer inspection he actually just had his head in there nibbling on a bar of very cunningly placed cooking chocolate... it did make me giggle!

Watching a man walk down the street backwards so the sun wasn't in the eyes of his baby in a forward facing sling!
