I read with absolute disgust tonight this report about a young guy trying to get to work at a Man Utd match and being subjected to horrific behaviour from security guards.

I’ve seen it happen more and more at football, this year alone there has been at least four incidents that has been publicised of police/stewards assaulting match going fans for being loud or jovial after a game. I’m aware it could be construed as bad behaviour at games but the footage recorded never shows this.

Also the lack of care from GMP is deeply concerning. How do people still get away with racism?! It’s 2020 for goodness sake.

You have shared a facebook comment and actually ended it with asking why people get away with racism, that isn't discussing a topic, it's a loaded question.

You have automatically gone down the racism angle and called out the GMP. Not much discussion to be had considering the investigation has only just begun

1. Its a formal statement from an organisation called Kids of Colour, who the teenager has been working with for several years.
2. How do you propose the young boy managed to get a fracture eye socket after this altercation?
3. GMP have now decided after the case has had some publicity and media coverage that they are now going to investigate fully. It’s a shame they didn’t at the time according to the statement. As if they had dealt with it at the time, the boy would have been able to get to work safely.

Considering I am not white and have lived in the north west for over 20 years I will wait for an investigation rather than automatically jumping to the racism angle. So maybe don't try and presume who you are speaking to with your gatekeeping.

No CCTV at the main entrance of Old Trafford?! The police actually said that? Ridiculous lies, and it's disgraceful that this boy had to go to social media to get justice, nobody was interested before.
