Am I the only one that gets unreasonably irritated by these? Grin

I only have about 4 direct debits that go out of that account - phone, pet insurance, Netflix and prime - so the same amounts every month and it gets them wrong all the time on ‘money left after bills’. It adds in random PayPal payments I’ve made so the money I have available and what it tells me I have left after bills is always wrong, which leads me to panic I haven’t got enough left to cover everything.

And the little notifications they’ve started, you spent £xx on contactless payments last week, you’ve spent £xxx more this month than last, your balance after bills is nearing zero, when it isn’t they’ve just added in random bills I don’t pay!

You can’t switch the notifications off either, I’ve checked! I don’t want to be told how much I’ve spent or on what, I’ve spent it so know roughly how much it is anyway. Anyone else get annoyed by these? Or know how to hide them or something to get rid of them?

I don’t get all those notifications so you must be able to change some of the settings at least.

You can definitely edit the amounts in the “balance after bills” section to what it actually will be this month, and you can hide transactions that you know won’t be occurring this month so it gives you an actually representative picture of your finances.

My annoyance with it is that if you know you will receive more money into your account later in the month there is no way to add that to the balance after bills bit, so it looks like you are short even though you won’t be...
