I totally agree with you OP and I’m sorry to hear about your Mother . People are buying into the mass hysteria the media is propelling.

Can I hide the CV board? I don't care about it. I don't want to read about it. I just want to get on with my life, and come on here for 5 minutes away from the fucking mess that is my life currently.

I'm sorry about your Mum. Everything seems so fucking trivial when you've lost a beloved parent. I know from personal experience.

It is annoying to hear about it , yes, but not talking about a virus that might kill many vulnerable elderly people is not helpful. It needs planning and the population needs to be made aware or many people's DMs and DFs will die...
My mum has high blood pressure and heart problems. Catching viral pneumonia would be a disaster for her.

I agree...the CV boards are full of people saying what should or should not be done and I bet none of them have any experience in virus containment at all! But from their armchair, they rail against the experts. I'd rather listen to the advice from people who know what their doing, not those that 'think' they do.

Yes, you can hide the CV topic (and any others that you choose) I think you have to be on the desktop site though
