She came away with us last week for a few days and as she flew and we went by boat we took her case for their ease. They left their case with us so we could bring it back. Her straighteners were not in her case as I was using them on holiday .I called her the other day to say when you collect your case dont forget your straighteners as I cant put them in case as its locked. She came to collect the case the other night and went off without straightebners. Now she wants me to deliver them to her 10 miles away as she's going out tonight and needs to straighten her hair.

Tell her to go and buy some new ones

She left them behind - her problem if she needs them!! Any special reason why she can't collect them??... or can't she be bothered? Is it worth falling out over?

SoupDragon · 07/09/2007 14:05

You could look upon it as being your fault they weren't in the case because you were using them on the holiday.

It's not black and white. Can't you meet her half way somewhere?

forsale · 07/09/2007 14:07

she finishes work at 3.30 and doesntr drive, although her dh does who works with her.

Not worth falling out over but typifies her approach to things. When we were in dublin she spent an hour and a half in Brown Thomas (nice departent store - out of our price range and we have 2 kids to occupy). I told her we would browse by ourselves and to text me when she was done. We went off to get some lunch instead but thought we were meandering around a store which we couldnt afford

oh yes soupy she suggested bringing her ghds on hols as she rarely uses them and it was pointless bringing 2 pairs (my ghds are broken so have bought emergency boots ones). I just wish she;'d have remembered to collect them on wednesday night

Were they not lying on top of her case when she came to collect it/them?

If it is a case of the hairstraighteners and case/s not being in the same place then I would say that there is fault on both sides.

However, what is she expecting you to do? Bus it down there with 2 children and her hairstraighteners?
