Can anyone help me get a better deal on my Vodafone contract?

I basically use my phone as a phone but now and again the kids use it to stream Netflix. Obviously need photo storage.

Any tips on getting a better price? I'm currently charged appropriately £50.0 a month.

Do you or a member of your household (same address) work for any large employer? Eg NHS or a big retailer? Vodafone have reduced prices for some employers - you can ask in the store if yours is on the list. Think the discount is around 10%.

If you don't need a new phone then look at SIM only deals.

If you need a new phone too then price up the cost of 24 months @ monthly rate offered compared to 24 months of a SIM only deal and buying the phone outright yourself. Then chuck in the value of any freebies that they might chuck in. Eg my kids love Spotify. I got a 2 year subscription free with the phone contract. The kids love it and it saves me paying out for them. But it wouldn't be worth if for just me as I rarely use it.

Depends what you want. I like SIM only so I can chop and change. I use VOXI who are Vodafone. I pay £20pm for unlimited texts and calls and £45gb data. If I want a new phone I buy it outright. Last time I did it Argos were competitive so I bought my iPhone through them on 0% finance.

I notice a lot of contracts are for 24/36 months now. Phone warranties are often only 12 so you might want to look at whether that’s sensible for you or not.

I'm not sure why you've started this thread, you clearly have no intention of giving any information so that you can get help.

What's this actually about?
