To be worried about these symptoms

Hi.. so I’m 40 and I’ve got a few symptoms lately which are worrying me.

Constant stomach ache. Not a bad one, could just be mum stress.

Lower back pain esp in the morning. Again not really bad.

Needing a wee at least once a night when I used to sleep through. Going more often.

We have some cancer history.. am I being unreasonable to worry or is this common at my age?

Hi average I don’t know if you are being unreasonable or not, but I would definitely go to the GP.

I can relate to the needing a wee in the night at that age, that wouldn’t worry me too much. The other symptoms are more unusual and I would definitely go and get them checked out.

Is more than likely lots of minor things but if you went to doctor with these concerns they might check out possibilities like ovarian cancer esp if you have bloating. As I say it is more than likely not but as I don’t know anything about your situation I’d advise if you’re worried go to GP soon to set mind at rest.

Thank you. I’ve got an dr appointment tomorrow anyway for a routine thing so hopefully I can ask then

I definitely wouldn’t say my stomach looks bloated.. things are often uncomfortable around my waist but I just assumed age for that

Could it be cystitis / similar infection? I present like that in V early stages?

AverageHuman · 09/03/2020 06:24

it doesn’t feel like cystitis or a uti, no pain when going for a wee or anything. I guess it could be tho, it’s quite common in our family.

Does anyone else get uti but not urgency to wee or pain when going?
