AIBU to think that with all her wealth and riches, VB could've got someone in to do some electrical design work so she didn't have to trail an extension lead across her room?

Hopefully the picture attached!

@Sparklesocks yes it’s so mean and nasty of people. Shame on them honestly. She’s a human being.

CaptainButtock · 09/03/2020 00:14

Is it not a deliberate ‘edgy’ thing?

diamonddandelions · 09/03/2020 01:04

so however many things she plugs into her multisocket

As euphemisms go I think Pigletjohn wins hands down.

crustycrab · 09/03/2020 01:09

@LouiseCollina Hmm really? First nasty cow on the thread. No need

daisychain01 · 09/03/2020 07:12

@SheSaidNoFuckThat I love the chair, colour is very on trend, Maybe it's you with no taste?

That nailed it for me, anything that's "on trend" is generally something I can't stand so my original comment remains!

Having an overloaded extension lead is edgy?!? Damn it... after I've spent all that effort rewiring the house and now I find out that, yet again, I'm off-trend!

I think they were on purpose.

Zaphodsotherhead · 09/03/2020 08:18

I want to get a pair of those trousers now and try creeping up on someone. I bet it sounds like a couple of stoats battling their way up behind you.

But I'd only get half of one leg in each side, and creeping up on someone with my trousers round my ankles is only to risk another injunction....sigh.

FudgeBrownie2019 · 09/03/2020 08:30

I always think whenever I see folk with those pleather trousers of how much effort went in to getting them actually on; did you have to go full-Ross and make a paste?

Lweji · 09/03/2020 08:31

I'd be more worried about putting petrol in my car in those trousers. Grin

That extension might be to power all the guests' phones.

TheProdigalKittensReturn · 09/03/2020 08:48

Let's say that the overloaded extension cord was to cause a fire. She'd not be getting much of an insurance payout with that photo as evidence!

MrsToothyBitch · 09/03/2020 09:03

I am obsessed with having plentiful extension leads so that I don't have a Posh Spice situation. I have a bloody box full of the buggers and lay my furniture out accordingly. I check that what I plug in does not exceeded the max volts. I feel vindicated. Blush

SirChing · 09/03/2020 09:18

@Zaphodsotherhead GrinGrinGrin

onetimer · 09/03/2020 09:27

That's why she's in rubber trousers, so she's earthed when it all goes wrong

Lweji · 09/03/2020 09:41

Sorry if anyone has already asked, but how did she take that photo? And did she take it?
She's holding her phone, but if she used a mirror, then the room would have to be very small or narrow.
If someone else did, why is she holding her phone as if taking a photo?
Questions, questions...

SirChing · 09/03/2020 09:50

@Lweji I thought maybe it was one of those "take a photo of each other taking a photo" things.

Lweji · 09/03/2020 09:52

Oh. Is that a thing, then?

SirChing · 09/03/2020 09:53

@Lweji I thought it was only a "thing" for people my mum's age. But maybe not? I am the least "on trend" person ever so wouldn't have a clue.

LordGarmadon · 09/03/2020 14:30

Taking a photo of someone taking a photo and chopping their head out of shot?!... that trend past me by!

Lweji · 09/03/2020 14:32

Maybe it's a body double. Hmm Grin

PigletJohn · 09/03/2020 18:51

the hand holding the camera looks the same size as the width of the waist.

seems odd.
