To not answer video calls/FaceTime calls?

I hate answering actual phone calls let alone the ones where we are actually looking at each other's faces.

It all just feels like so much effort. Text me or whatsapp me.

Don't bloody FaceTime me. I'll ignore it anyways.

I don´t use Facetime at work. Not using Facetime has nothing to do with my working life?

I only use video calls for one of my young adult DC, who lives abroad. I haven’t seen her in person for a year. I would do video calls with my parents, who are 250 miles away, but they don’t have the tech for that.

I have only used Skype (we are not an Apple household) when talking to my sister at new year or when DH used to work abroad. We just stick to messaging or bog standard phone calls. I never get unexpected Skype calls.

BernadetteRostankowskiWolowitz do you have to make/take phone calls at work?

daisypond · 09/03/2020 07:45

Meant to say, video calls are planned between us in advance - even if only by a few minutes.

I assume that those of you who won't answer the phone don't work?

Not everyone who works, does so in an office.

People work in warehouses and factories.

Drive taxis and buses and delivery vans.

Restaurants and shops
Etc etc.

I work in an office and never have to answer the phone. We don’t even have phones.
