To send DC to school with a cold?

I feel ridiculous even asking this...and under normal circumstances I would of course send DC to school without hesitation. However, DC has developed a bad cold/cough over the weekend. They are fine in themselves, but if I send them into school will they be sent home again given the coronavirus panic? I honestly don't know what to do.

ALL the children in my child's class have coughs and colds, including my own child. No-one has commented or speculated about coronavirus.
