My ds has pretty much all his life had poos like this- we are currently trying out cow milk free formula but it's not helping any ideas?

Looks like a different allergy to me. DS is allergic to banana and the above looks familiar. Best bet is gp

Cacaca · 08/03/2020 12:48

Going by the thread title what did you expect?

skybluee · 08/03/2020 13:04

Yikes looks like pate.

Whome91 · 08/03/2020 13:20

He has already been seen by gp who wants to rule out CMA so were got two weeks left until his next appointment. He doesn't come across unwell or in any discomfort

The only time either of my babies (now 5 and 2) had nappies like this is when they had gastro bugs. Definitely not normal

ecrit · 08/03/2020 13:32

Oh poor wee lamb Sad those look like the type of poos that take the skin right off their wee buns if they’re left in it for any longer than about 2 seconds.

copperoliver · 08/03/2020 13:53

I'd say lactose intolerant x

Whome91 · 08/03/2020 14:23

Yes he does tend to have bad nappy rash as he does them 5+ a day unfortunately

Milk allergy poo would have a bit of mucus in it I think, remember it can take up to two weeks for milk to exit the body. My son has a milk allergy it looks similar to that nappy but tiny bits of mucus as well.

pussycatinboots · 08/03/2020 14:58

I thought you were going to complain about how long your DP spends in the bathroom Grin

Whome91 · 08/03/2020 15:19

At times there Is some mucus yes

My premie dd is lactose intolerant and her bowel movements looked awful like this. Poor child

Whome91 · 08/03/2020 21:08

Hopefully it will get sorted out soon
