People put #bekind and #metoo and countless others everywhere but nothing ever changes, AIBU to think it's all just virtue signalling that people do for likes on social media or to appear compassionate?

I always think #bekind is just another way of saying "don't disagree with me or saying anything that I may think is negative".

So you will get someone on here posting on AIBU and then when they are told they ABU saying "now remember, #bekind" ok?"

It really needs to go away now.
