There is a topic for coronavirus, I've hidden it! But almost every fucking thread I go on is a corona virus thread in disguise!

AIBU to just stay away from Mumsnet until it's all over! Or is it just me getting pissed off?

99% of the Coronavirus threads are unhealthy. They are filled by panicking people winding each other up and feeding each other's anxiety. Picking over every little piece of information, analysing numbers. It's really not showing people in a good light at all.

Loo rolls are in case people have to isolate themselves surely? I have a small bathroom and only have space for a week's supply at a time. I did put some extra on my shopping delivery for tomorrow but I didn't go mad.

Loo rolls are to build partition walls in houses so that each family member can self isolate. Obviously!

I mean, how many toilet rolls do you need even if, worst ways, you need to stay indoors for 2 weeks? I'm gonna stockpile McCoys & Maltesers. Also, Pepsi Max as all the water's gone.

I am not a prepper. But even before CV we tended to bullish buy. We'd pop to Costco ever couple of months and just stock up on things because it worked out cost effective. And Costco have some fun things.....and free samples.

We have a lot of toilet roll. Again. Even before this outbreak.

I feel it my duty to build an igloo.

I couldn't agree more OP, I'm sick of them and my temper hasn't improved by the supermarket not delivering any loo rolls with my order this morning. I'm down to one roll, have started rationing myself and will soon have to start doing some creative thinking for a replacement.

I'm not running out of coke and wine. Those are essential supplies. . .

I don't understand the toilet roll obsession or why they think their arse gets priority over everyone else's.
I can only assume someone started a toilet roll panic and all the sheep followed suit.
