Long haul flight plus Uber driver “telling” me off

Am i overthinking this? Just spent about 20 hours travelling long haul. Returning to London so I got a train arriving to a bigish station nearish to my home and then picked up an Uber. I crossed the road and went down a side street to make it easier before ordering the Uber so they wouldn’t have to pick up on a main road.
Uber driver accepts my booking and then as soon as I get in starts to give me a long lecture, (repeated twice) about how I should have ordered the cab from the other side of the station. I hmmd and agreed a bit. A few minutes later he starts to tell me actually I shouldn’t have ordered an Uber at all. I should have taken a tube.
I don’t live near a fucking tube and I have a massive case and am exhausted. I snapped this at him pretty much and now have guilt that I was rude but also I’m exhausted and I’m wondering would this guy be lecturing a male repeatedly on how he should or shouldn’t be travelling! Is this mansplaining or do I have long haul rage? Also why accept the booking if you don’t want the fare?

@NellWilsonsWhiteHair Once he was gone, the driver repeatedly explained to me that the reason we were running late was because children never put down their devices and get ready

Lol. Sounds like a sly dig on your parenting! Why do they think they have free reign to lecture! Sorry he was a bellend!

I'd down rate him without a second thought. He shouldn't be in the job if he's that unprofessional. He sounds unhinged and you can better believe he'd never say that to a man. He's in the wrong profession. Customers do not exist to keep shitty people in a job. Too bad. He should have thought about that before he started telling you off and lecturing you.
