My child maintenance payments have gone down to a rather low amount compared to what they were. He will have an Army pension and his LinkedIn profile (now taken down) stated he is an assistant security manager at a group of airports in Scotland plus I was asked to write a reference for him to be a foster parent (a joke considering he has chosen to not see his own child and has been very predictable in cutting the money as soon as he left the forces!) so all in all I'm damn sure he is bringing in more than £209 a week!
CMS has said they've looked at it and no change. Seeing as all they do is ring the person up and ask them what they earn I somehow think its bullshit.
If he is fostering this isn't taxed so could be why he can get away with this. I really don't think that is right as his actual biological child is now going without not only his attention but even money. This £209 is split between my son and an older daughter by his first wife.
