I have a date tonight with a man I met online. We were meant to meet for 6pm. He has just text me to say that he is going for a "quick" drink with his colleagues and could I meet him at 7 or a bit later?!
I think that is very rude!! We decided last week that we would meet for 6.
Please tell me how to reply!!!! I'm trying not to take this personally as we have never met before but I think this rather crappy of him and I actually do not want to meet him anymore. Aibu?

It was the right decision. I was reading somewhere how this can be a form of "negging" - seeing how malleable you are and basically how easily messed around. By accepting the change you'd be saying you were willing to put yourself out for him - someone you don't even know! It'll be interesting to see how he responds (my money's on ghosting...)

Just change the time

I’d say you dodged a bullet.

If his work mates and pubs are the priority now when he’s meant to be making a good impression imagine how he’ll be when his slippers are under your bed.

I'd not bother meeting him. He's obviously not that fussed about seeing you. If he's like this first off, imagine what he'd be like when he hit comfortable with you
