Swelling up like a balloon when ovulating?

Not AIBU but..... everytime I have ovulated for maybe the last 12 months I get weird like super mega bloating. Like someone has blown me up with a pump. It hurts to breathe and walk and bend I get stabby pains on alternate sides. I've tried paracetamol and hot water bottles and doing a bit of downward dog in case it is trapped wind but nothing helps. Lasts maybe 6 hours and goes away over night. Should I go to docs? Or accept this new bouncy castle version of me?!

If it's a new(ish) thing I'd go to the GP about it. Could be ovarian cysts. I get the pain and swelling but it's not a new symptom. I was told I had pcos in my late 20s.
