Just got in from doing the shopping, have about an hour before I have to take DD to hospital for tests. I haven't been well this week spent most of it in bed, for background, and am still not 100%.
We are having the ceiling plastered tomorrow, so all the furniture has to be moved out.
I was planning on having a cheeky rest before going to the hospital. But no. DH decides that as soon as the shopping was put away (which he admittedly helped with) would be the ideal time to start lugging the furniture around.
Now he's got the hump because I asked if it HAD to be done right this moment! He has form for this, just expecting me to drop what I'm doing to help with something he decides needs doing, even if I've started before.
AIBU being annoyed?

Depends. Is there a reasonable time later for it to be done or is RIGHT NOW, in fact, the best time for it?

There's no reason at all that it has to be right now. In fact, the later the better as we'll have nothing to sit on once everything is moved! He also wanted to put it in the garage, which mean carrying it outside - it's chucking it down, and the kitchen is plenty big enough for the length of time it'll be there (we'll move it all back tomorrow evening)

I would simply explain that you're not feeling great, and that it would be wiser to wait until later for the reasons you've listed. If he insists on doing it RIGHT NOW, then he can do it himself. YANBU.
