To think the hormone patch might be a better option

Hi. I am having alot of problems with my health and energy at the moment. In a viscous circle of heavy periods and anemia. I've been housebound for a month now Barr the odd day. I'm finally going to the drs tomorrow to spill out how horrendous I've been feeling.

I am desperate for lots of experiences so I've put it on here.

When I tried to take the combination pill I was waking up for a week heaving into a bowl at 3am and feeling low and awful.

I am not sure if the hormonal patch would also make me feel sick etc? I don't want to look into coils yet.

The Dr was reluctant last year to out me on the mini pill due to the amount of bleeding I already do.

I need to get my head around tomorrow and what I want from this appointment. I'm struggling to take care of my kids. I have no quality of life at the moment. I need to get better. If things don't improve I'm considering asking about the womb ablation. I think that's it.

So in your experiences with contraceptive pills. What worked best? What side effects did you get? Have you suffered from anemia and bad periods. Please help. Any bit of help I can get at this point would be great.

Pills I've tried. Mercilon and Microgynon. Yasmine years ago. Thanks!
