Had a really vivid dream last night about breastfeeding a newborn, it was so real. It was my baby but I didn't dream about giving birth just feeding the baby and I had the 'let down my feeling. I do not have a baby nor am I pregnant!! Wtf?!

What's your most bizarre dream? I'm so freaked out

SingleSidedShoulderShrug · 04/03/2020 15:59

I dream about being pregnant fairly often!

One of the weirdest dreams I had was one where I had a husband and four kids and a whole other life. There was a sense of time in the dream - kids getting older, things changing. When I woke up, for a moment I was really upset that my family was gone. I'm childless in reality.

Another, which I had about a decade ago, was the dream in which I died. Everyone says that dying makes you wake up, but I didn't. I was in a hospital bed, and I felt myself die, and this overwhelming sense of relief at the moment of my death. As if none of it mattered, all the regrets and things I didn't do. It was over, and it was alright. All was well. And then I felt my consciousness rising, and spreading itself thin across the sky, and up towards the stars, and the thinner it got the more that my sense of self was fading, but there was no fear. It was as if I was returning to what I had been before I was conceived, part of the fabric of the universe.

I don't really believe in an afterlife or any sort of woo but that dream always stayed with me. Again, when I first woke up I was surprised that I was alive!

When I was pregnant with my first child, I dreamed that I was nursing kittens. I could feel their little picky paws on my breast.

I dreamed that I gave my FIL a blow job. It was horrific. Had a very difficult job looking him in the eye after that.

Windyatthebeach · 04/03/2020 16:17

Last week I dreamt I had a baby at 29 weeks pregnant...
Was quite gutted it wasn't real tbh!!
Obviously not prem but a baby!!

LBFan · 04/03/2020 16:26

Recently had a dream about David Walliams. In my dream I met David, randomly, he was just walking down the street and I said hello to him, he said hello back, then told me matter of factly "This is not real but it will be" Woke up a bit confused. I met him for real the next day.

Had a dream that my uncle had a heart attack and died, we were all at his funeral, all crying, the next day he had a heart attack. (He lived)

Also had a dream where my ex (when we were still together) cheated on me and rang me up crying, I woke up to the phone ringing, it was him telling me he had slept with someone from work.

SingleSidedShoulderShrug · 04/03/2020 16:26

@SecretWitch hahaha! Omg that sounds horrific

I had a dream I was married to Max Branning. Blush🤢

Doggyperson · 04/03/2020 16:36

I dreamt just last week that I slept with a cow. We didn't have sex, but I woke up the next morning and had to force it to leave my house. Weirdest dream ever!

MagnoliaJustice · 04/03/2020 16:41

I had a very raunchy dream featuring Bradley Walsh. I haven't been able to watch The Chase since.Blush

SecretWitch · 04/03/2020 16:45

@SingleSidedShoulderShrug, it was! I can still the contents of that dream 20 yrs later and I still go red.

Nitpickpicnic · 04/03/2020 16:51

I’ve had a few weird dreams where I’m in a sort of university setting, with big whiteboards (or blackboards) and expert professors. They are teaching me very complex things- sometimes maths, sometimes philosophy. Everything they teach is new to me (not connected to things I’ve actually studied while awake!)

I listen, take it the information, ask questions, take copious notes and work through examples. I start with no knowledge, and end up with loads. It seems to go on for hours.

I always wake up amazed that my brain has been able to come up with all this seemingly logical, complicated information that I supposedly don’t ‘know’.

Littlebluetruck · 04/03/2020 16:52

I dreamed that I gave my FIL a blow job

Hahaha!

I have a recurring dream that I’m not married to DH, but still in a relationship with my ex. It’s always really distressing, because I’m constantly trying to find my DH in the dream, but no one else knows who he is.

blamethecat · 04/03/2020 16:58

Hiding drugs in a spaceship that was docked on top of a HMV. really fucking vivid and weird.

2018SoFarSoGreat · 04/03/2020 17:00

I've had a dream (more than once) where I am in the bottom bunk at my parents house, and give birth to a baby, but have to hide it from my mum. It is under the covers, squirming, and I pretend nothing is wrong. Then I wake up.

I have also had a dream about a colleague. A very handsome one, and a very raunchy dream. Could not look at him for months without blushing.

SimonJT · 04/03/2020 17:01

I once had a very graphic sex dream about a then partners dad.

I sometimes dream about having a wee, sadly that dream is far too realistic...

00deed1988 · 04/03/2020 17:01

That I had an affair with my BIL. I do not like him in the slightest in any way and we have never got on. He doesn't even acknowledge me when we are in the same room! So pretty much a nightmare really!!!

maddening · 04/03/2020 17:03

I spent time in my dream with a young boy who had recently murdered his whole family, I kept worrying that he would kill me and wondering why no one had arrested him. Was scared the whole time and the boy was horrible, have no clue why I was in the house with him.

maddening · 04/03/2020 17:06

The night before was in some sort of post apocalyptic world, somehow had a stash of lambert and butler (have given up smoking in rl) and was taking my friend around some crazy bars that had established themselves in the post apocalyptic world. Everywhere was broken and smashed and it was really dangerous.

Whyhaveidonethis · 04/03/2020 17:22

It was hard @SingleSidedShoulderShrug!! 😂 He was a great boss though!!!

ForestYeti · 04/03/2020 17:30

I’ve had the same dream twice that I’ve hidden bodies and can’t remember anything about killing them but am worrying that they’ll be found where they are and wake up panicking it’s real. must note I do not have any murderous intentions irl!

TheMemoryLingers · 04/03/2020 17:43

I've never been pregnant nor wanted to be, but I sometimes have dreams that I am having a baby. The 'pregnancy' lasts about two hours and the baby comes out really quickly and looks just like I did as a child and I have a 'what on earth have I done?' moment before waking up.

BossAssBitch · 04/03/2020 17:51

@TheMemoryLingers

Same. Child free / never wanted kids but have had lots of dreams where I give birth and feel really depressed about having a baby to bring up that I didn’t want (always a boy). The relief when I wake up is incredible Grin

reallyshouldknowbetter · 04/03/2020 18:24

I've had some really weird ones!

The one that is strangest looking back: when I was pregnant with DC1, I had a dream about talking to my late grandmother - we were in the park by her house where we went as children, she told me she was proud of me, she and my grandad were so excited about the baby, that my grandad was sorry he couldn't come, and that the baby was a girl and that she would come in the month before her due date. Both true, in the end!

I know realistically it was a 50:50 chance of it being a girl but I was convinced after that dream it was a girl.
