To think there’s practically no chance of a pregnancy

My periods have been a little irregular lately but mostly are 28 days. However there were only 2 weeks between periods last month. I had sex at the weekend so should be due a period next week - I couldn’t be pregnant, could I?

I'm sat feeding 8 week old dd, conceived 5 days before my period was due when I said there was basically no chance of pregnancy. There is always a chance

babymaybe20 · 04/03/2020 14:02

Even if you aren’t ovulating? (I definitely wasn’t ovulating.)

If you're having unprotected sex then yes, of course you could be pregnant

babymaybe20 · 04/03/2020 14:07

Not at some times of the month. A pregnancy would be welcomed but i am just wondering exactly what the chances are.

No offence op but you sound very young and slightly immature. No one here can tell you if you're pregnant. Of course, there's a chance. You haven't even given any dates of your last period though so even harder to guess your chances. No one here can tell you anything.

11 February. I’m not going to be drawn into a silly argument - why does what I sound like have anything to do with anything I posted?

(I wish I was young!)

The chances can’t be measured “exactly” under any circumstances, not just yours?!

Babyg1995 · 04/03/2020 14:20

Post in pregnancy op you will get on better there than aibu.

Bananacloud · 04/03/2020 14:21

There’s less chance of you being pregnant, yes.

Hi I appreciate this post is a week old I was wondering if anyone could help I have irregular periods and use ovulation sticks to help predict my next period and also obvs when ovulating too... this month I was getting positive tests from 13th feb and I done a pregnancy test on the 8th Tesco one which was negative which I thought was 2 weeks after I ovulated and I’ve still got no period but since yesterday I had sore boobs (I usually do before period but because I feel I might be two days late is this because possible pregnancy???

Rhubarbpeony · 10/03/2020 12:16

@tanit20088 none of us can tell you - do a test! Hope it’s the news you want.

tanit20088 · 10/03/2020 12:19

I’m trying to hold out best I can I’m not entirely convinced and I just don’t want to get my hopes up been trying for 6/7 month just becoming inpatient now

Unless you've

  • had a hysterectomy/born without a uterus,
  • a doctor has confirmed you are post menopausal or you are over 55, then

if you have a penis ejaculate inside you, or if the semen gets inside you somehow you could be pregnant.
