My friend lost her mum this year and naturally, she is devastated.
I keep receiving spam or adverts online about Mothers day and I can't help but think of her and how she is probably feeling with the constant bombardment to remind her. You can't switch it off. She is of course just one example where marketing campaigns for specific occasions cause pain.
If only we could opt out of all the online marketing for these type of specific occasions that are painful for people.
