I dont know if I'm being a tight arse here but here goes.
Ive been asked to attend a baby shower for a friend, I have said that of course I will be going if I am not working (havent got my rota yet due to job change). Keep in mind the location is approx 100 miles from my home.
So group chat message today confirms the location and a £55 payment to be transferred by bank transfer to stay overnight at some lodges!!!!!!!! Since when do baby showers last a whole day/night and since when are people expected to pay to attend a baby shower!!!
WIBU to make my excuses and send a gift in the post??
