I live in a flat. There are 5 flats in total, we are above a row of shops, and all the flats have separate entrances. My entrance is round the corner from everyone else's so I don't really know my neighbours or have much contact with them.
One of my neighbours has taken to playing music VERY loud, in the room right next to my bedroom so I can hear it through the wall. I don't mind if it's in the daytime but it's sometimes late at night on weeknights, past 11pm. It's loud enough to keep me awake. I've tried banging on the wall but it's quite thick so I'm not sure if they can hear it. I can't go round when it happens as I have young DS asleep and I'm a single parent. Also, the other problem is I'm not sure who it is as like I said I don't really have contact with the neighbours. I'm not even sure what flat it is, although I'm pretty sure it's one of two.
Would you post a note through the door in the morning? Or should I just contact the landlord and let them deal with it? It's not every night, it's about once a week but it's pissing me off. I get up at 6 for work and it's affecting my sleep.
