I love the life hacks/tips and 'stuff you didn't know' type threads. Also the what to buy at Aldi/Lidl/Ikea/Costco ones.

Apart from that it has to be the poo pouffe one.

I find that most threads fall into the following categories:

  • issues with partners
  • issues with kids
  • issues with neighbours
  • issues with in-laws
  • issues with friends
  • issues with pets
  • issues landlords and associated rented housing problems
  • issues with owned houses and their maintenance
  • issues with random people
  • issues with fertility
  • issues with money
  • issues with colleagues and bosses
  • issues with schools, public transport, councils, police, NHS and other public services
  • issues with cars, lawnmowers, house appliances etc
  • issues with self: examples - inability to say "no", poor self-esteem etc
  • miscellaneous questions about gardening, cooking etc
  • being-bored-with-nothing-to-do questions

None of these topics are particularly interesting by themselves but people's responses to all these topics can be pretty interesting :)

The booble plate was a favourite of mine!

I find most of them really saddening to be honest.

And can never fathom out how women stay in such appalling relationships.

I loved the thread someone started about how you think you're going to look in clothes and the somewhat different reality......... that made me chuckle. And the one about the gourmet scotch egg that was a fatball. I like the classics.
