My Supermarket has closed down.
I used hat site several times a week just checking availability of ingredients and planning which shop to go to for best prices overall.
Im devastated . Well, okay,probably not actually devastated but Im pretty miffed.

Shop somewhere else. Shop online.

We don’t live near any supermarkets and shop online about every ten days.

Is there another one nearby?

Has it? My app still connects and appears to be working. Gutted if so, I use it a lot.

An independent supermarket near me also closer last year. I feel your pain as we no longer have any places to buy food within walking distance (although we have an abundance of restaurants so we’ll never actually starve ). Just get organised and shop online. If you were able to go several times a week just to research availability of ingredients and check prices then I’m sure you’ll be able to find the time. I get it though, it’s annoying.

PPs have misunderstood. It's MySupermarket - the supermarket price comparison site.

It's a shame it's gone as it was handy, and a quick Google shows no realistic alternative (apart from doing it yourself which is tedious)

It says on the Home Page that "the mySupermarket website will be taken down from March 1st, 2020 as we shift our activity toward other business areas."

AnneLovesGilbert the OP is referring to a website on which you could check prices and availability of products. It closed on March 1st.

I can see an supermarket comparison app but it's only rated 3.6/5 (Comparasaurus)

I'm sure you'll get used to another supermarket, it's not the only one to choose from after all.

I loved Mysupermarket, sad its gone, was really useful.

It's not the OP's local supermarket - it's a site called "MySupermarket". You logged in and typed in the food that wanted and it would tell you which supermarkets had offers on, and where it was cheapest.

I used it for over ten years - one of the few apps I used regularly. A real shame as it was so good and finding special offers, checking prices etc

MySupermarket was a price comparison website covering all major supermarkets plus Ocado, Boots and Superdrug.
I'm really disappointed. I used it several times a week to check prices before buying especially on high ticket items like coffee, dishwasher tabs and booze.
Very surprised it's gone and also surprised how few people on MN seem familiar with it.

Probably why it’s closed down. Lack of awareness.
