Should I be worried?

GS has been staying with us, his school, just round the corner, has been closed due to the coronavirus. DH is mid 70s and in poor health, I've been his carer for the last 30 years.

I've told DIL I can't have the children this week, I've got food in, a couple of years ago we got snowed in so I have got enough to last a couple of weeks. So should we lock the door and hibernate or just get on with it and see what happens.

This sounds worrying for you. I thought the advice was that schools didn't need to shut because someone was being tested. Has someone at school actually got coronavirus?

They aren't telling us anything. Just closed the school but it was supposed to be the advice they were given so I'm assuming that it is a confirmed case. They contacted the Head last night.

I think as the carer for someone who is already vulnerable you are being very sensible to take precautions until you know

Just heard it has been confirmed a pupil has got the virus.

A pupil?
Is this the first child to test positive so far?
Sounds like the right thing to do op.

I don't know how old they are, I suppose it could be an 18 year old in 6th form?
