Had this done early last week.

For the first few days I felt a bit crampy but nothing too bad and barely any bleeding.

However over the weekend, I've been woken up in the night with really bad cramps and heavier bleeding which is still ongoing. It feels like a bad period.

I've looked online and everywhere says the bleeding can last up to 2 weeks but you should only have mild discomfort for a couple of days afterwards.

I'm worried because this bleeding and cramping started about 3 days after the surgery. I've also passed some stringy clots but nothing massive (sorry tmi).

Would you go back or has anyone had this sort of thing and it been normal?

Sorry I'm a massive worrier and this situation has set my anxiety well off.

Sorry for your loss.

Recently had my second SMM. The first I had barely any bleeding and no clots. This one I bleed and felt uncomfortable and crampy for about a week. No worse than a period though. Had small, stringy clots through all of it then again 3 weeks later. Period returned 6 weeks later and was heavier than normal.

I would ring the epau if you are in lots of discomfort though or even if you are just concerned. Its such a tough time emotionally even without ongoing pain.
