VetOnCall · 01/03/2020 23:09

YANBU! One of my overall favourite horror movies and definite favourite vampire movie.

CalleighDoodle · 01/03/2020 23:10

Love this film.

AnyFucker · 01/03/2020 23:13

It's fucking terrifying and a brilliant film

Up there with "Let the right one in"

OchAyeThaNoo · 02/03/2020 00:03

I bloody love it. It's really underrated. I have no idea why it's not way more popular.

The second one is pretty rubbish though.

30daysoflight · 02/03/2020 00:08

See my username. Fab film also After Dark, Lost Boys and From Dusk Til Dawn Smile

elQuintoConyo · 02/03/2020 00:11

Vamp us a classic - Grace Jones as a vampire? What's not to love?!

Lost Boys is the shit.

OchAyeThaNoo · 02/03/2020 00:22

"Did they look like psychos? Is that what they looked like? They were vampires. Psychos do not explode when sunlight hits them, I don't give a fuck how crazy they are!"

Dusk til Dawn gets No.1 spot for best vampire movie but 30 Days of Night comes a close second.

EveryFlightBeginsWithAFall · 02/03/2020 00:27

I do like it .Haven't seen it for ages . Love a good bampire film

n00bMaster69 · 02/03/2020 00:36

Interview with a vampire will always be my favourite vampire film.
I did enjoy 30 days, hated Dusk till dawn though.

Willow2017 · 02/03/2020 00:57

Love a good vamp film
Dusk till dawn
Vampires - John Woods is fab.
30 Days although too damm scary in bits
Priest
Interview with a vampire
Dracula - Gary Oldman can have my neck any day of the week who could resist?😉
Salems Lot is creepy as heck doesnt need a gore fest
Fright Night - David Tennant in lleather whats not to like?

KLS02 · 02/03/2020 01:01

love it!

OchAyeThaNoo · 02/03/2020 18:01

Did you lot watch the new Dracula three part series? Absolutely fan-flipping-tasting! Stays true to the story but throws a massive twist in at the end, is both a perfect remake of Gary Oldman scenes, with a Christopher Lee Dracula thrown in and a bit of Nosferatu for good measure

Chesntoots · 02/03/2020 18:37

It's probably my favourite vampire film of all time.

But I did find "What we do in the shadows" quite funny.

And then, of course, there's "Being Human". Superb.

Littlegoth · 02/03/2020 18:45

YABU

While it is a great film, Stake Land is better.

cushioncovers · 02/03/2020 18:47

Yep I agree. The vampires are fucking terrifying.

Littlegoth · 02/03/2020 18:49

Then Vampires.

Then 30 days of night.

That sounds like an excellent movie night actually :)

Abelino · 02/03/2020 18:51

What We Do in the Shadows holds that title for me, but 30 Days is very good.

Willow2017 · 02/03/2020 19:04

OOoh I forgot Stake Land I have it on DVD too!

Chesntoots · 03/03/2020 22:23

I forgot one - The Originals!! Put me down for eternity with the Mikaelsons please....

OchAyeThaNoo · 05/03/2020 17:37

@Chesntoots I wouldn't bother with the Originals but an eternity downing Bourbon Whisky with an immortal Damon Salvatore? Hells yah!
