I have tendonitis and conjunctivitis and I've had an allergic reaction to my sodding contact lenses. I've sat with my foot on frozen peas while pouring drops into my poorly eye all day as well as wearing sunglasses indoors as I'm so light sensitive.

I said to D(ick of a)H that it was a shite end to the week and he is adamant that Sunday is the first day of the week. So please help me feel better by being smugly right.

YABU - Sunday is the first day because obviously we have a day of rest right at the start of the week according to the Bible

YANBU - clearly your husband is stupider than Baldrick's turnip, you should skip the divorce and when your foot is up to it bury him under the patio.

  • I won't be doing any burying, I've just had my nails done, it's just illustrating how right I am.

The bible said, on the 7th day was rest (or words to that effect), started on a Monday so therefore Sunday is the last day of the week 🤷‍♀️

When I've learned French, German and Italian Monday was always the first day mentioned. However in Welsh Sunday was the first day.

I'd say Monday is the first day and Sunday the lasr, day of rest after working all week.

Yanbu. I can lend you a shovel and some fetching gloves if you want, it would be a shame to be proven correct and then not follow through because of your nails.

At the least you should force feed him the peas when your foot has fully defrosted them.

I do enjoy being right!

Thanks for the chamomile tea tip, I'm trying that this morning.
