DH going on holiday to France - selfish?

My DH is going on holiday to France with a friend this week. I'm not sure I would still be going. We have small children and elderly parents.

On the other hand it's paid for and not everyone who goes to France this week will get coronavirus.

I will actually kill him if he brings it back.

What do you think?

Just as much chance to get it here. YABU.

I think yabu. The risk of him catching it is low.

Statistically you're more likely to get struck by lightning or die falling off a ladder.

Unless he's going to Wuhan I'd just carry on as normal. We're going to France and Spain soon. SIL is going to Japan next month.

Ok fair enough - I'd actually rather hear that IABU

Almost everyone has people in their life who are over 50 (that is considered the at risk age) or with health issues. Young children seem to fight it off.

It's in the UK. He just needs to take any symptoms seriously.
