I love bunnykins crockery, adore them. I'd eat off them for breakfast lunch and dinner but I feel like a bit of an idiot.

I love it too. I look out for it second hand but it's still quite pricey.

Crawley65 · 01/03/2020 19:30

Ha! Snap, I love them and often look at them in store.

Largeyellowdaffodil · 01/03/2020 19:33

Go to any car boot- they are always being sold alongside the silver plated money boxes that were also christening gifts.

auslass · 01/03/2020 19:34

Noooo buy it they're so cute!!

I also look at some kids clothes and wish they came in adult sizes. Sad, but my three year old nephew has a kitted beanie with foxed on it that I have tried to stretch into. Shame on me. Grin

@livingthegoodlife @Crawley65 - I'm glad I'm not the only one!!

@Largeyellowdaffodil - that's a brilliant idea! Hopefully the weather will improve and then I'll go hunting.

@auslass - I'm the same with kids clothes, I wish I was 9 sometimes

Aren’t they a bit small?

littlemissbumshine · 01/03/2020 19:37

@Lordfrontpaw - I'll just have small portions and eat seconds...and thirds...

I love bunnykins, you can get a lot on eBay quite reasonably - I may have a bit of a habit...

Lordfrontpaw · 01/03/2020 20:23

I bought some for my sisters granddaughters. I’m not convinced the child got it!

clary · 01/03/2020 20:26

I just sold a plate and mug in boxes still on eBay for not a lot, shame I didn't see this post first! I have an egg cup you can have cheap op?

Horehound · 01/03/2020 20:27

I have a bunnykins clock on my babies wall. It was mine when I was wee. :)

Thisismytimetoshine · 01/03/2020 20:28

They’re cute. I got a bowl in a charity shop for 30p!

Streamside · 01/03/2020 21:19

I bought a lovely bunnykins book last week so I can understand it perfectly

anguauberwaldironfoundersson · 01/03/2020 21:30

Thanks to this thread I now realise the nearly 40 year old plate, bowl, cup and egg cup set I have stored in my garage and that's never been used since being gifted to me in 1983 is a Bunnykins set!

bluejayblue · 01/03/2020 21:35

We have a Bunnykins dish that was used by my 63 year old DH and my DSs who are in their 30's. I'm saving it for when I eventually have some GC. Smile

AlexaAmbidextra · 01/03/2020 21:44

Aw. I remember my Bunnykins set from over sixty years ago. Wish I’d kept it.

Crocsandsocks · 01/03/2020 22:40

I'm going to put a pin in this as I'm pretty sure I've got a load of it in my mother's attic. She's having a clear out and said today about bringing a load of plates and things over. If the bunnykins stuff comes with it I'll sell it cheaply, if anyone's interested. Will be back to update!

Blackbear19 · 01/03/2020 22:56

There must be loads of it ends up in charity shops.
People get it as gifts but then feel its too good, expensive to risk toddler breaking it, so don't use it. Before they know it DC has got too old for it and it remains usused. My friend was surprised at my logic DC uses it with the risk of damage as the alternative is it becomes unused cupboard clutter.

Thelnebriati · 01/03/2020 22:59

YANBU, I used to have the whole set, it was a gift from a much loved aunt. I also had some battered third hand Pinky and Perky plates, and a few others. I went to replace them and they are eye watering prices now.
