Due to start my new job in New York (moved here a while ago, not moving for this job) which will mean taking the subway during rush hour. The organisation have already made it clear they don't like home working in general and in any case it wouldn't be appropriate at the very start anyway.
The WHO is saying quite openly to avoid crowds if you are in an at risk category. I have type 1 diabetes, and the diabetic death rate with coronavirus so far looks to be 7%. Now obviously that data is vague and frustrating because I don't know if it's so high due to other variables such as age, or not.
How would you assess the risk with this?
