To leave teething baby?

DS is 3 months old and my mum has very kindly offered to look after him for a few hours tomorrow evening so me and DH can go out for a meal. My health visitor thought it would be good for me to have a little time away.
However DS has started teething. He's unsettled and I'm not sure that it would be kind for me to leave him. He knows my mum but I've pretty much always been with him. The odd occasion I haven't been DH has been with him. He's never not had a parent with him. Should I postpone until he's feeling better?

@IfYoureNotIntoYoga we went and I had cocktails! Excellent choice. Just waiting on a taxi back.

I’d go, choose someone close and make your mum promise to call if it gets too much for her. It’s really important to continue to go out now and then, either with your husband or friends.

Ah fantastic!
So hard leaving them the first time.
Glad you've had some time for yourself and your partner.
