Is there a way to block gif's on Android ?

I have parent control set up on teens phone. Using Safe Lagoon etc. But can't find a way to block gif's?some are really unsuitable. Google Chrome is the browser on DC's phone

Also couldn’t they still view still images anyway?
Which gifs are inappropriate?

I didn't think you could block GIFs...isn't that like blocking every picture that loads on your device??👀 You'd have to block the person sending them...? I think anyway.
