AIBU to get miffed when DP asks me to asks questions of Alexa? "Hey honey, can you ask Alexa what the weather is tomorrow?"

FFS Just drop the "Hey honey, can you ask" and Alexa will answer you directly.

Every time. "Hey, can you ask Alexa to turn down the heating". I don't know why DP asks ME to ask the question?!?

A simple no should suffice.

Have you asked him why he does it?

Do you/can you not communicate?

Just say 'ask ALEXA yourself FFS!'

Alexa is not "her". Alexa is not a person. Alexa is a computer collecting your requests so it can share data about your interests and preferences with other computers. Please stop the anthropomorphising.
