To be worried about Ds and coronavirus?

Ds is 12 and at secondary school.
His school was one of those who had a ski trip to Italy over the half term. No one in his year went, think it was just the older years.

Had an email from the school yesterday saying that they had sent home all the pupils and teachers who had been skiing for 14 days, none had any signs of illness, so it was a precautionary measure.

Aibu to be worried sick in case Ds picks up this virus? I was tempted to keep him off but it's pointless now as he may have already come into contact with the ski trip people who may have CV before they were sent home?

My anxiety is through the roof atm.

Aw, I really can imagine. I'm feeling anxious and it's not so close to where I am at the minute.
As long as them other kids and teacher are self isolated and show no symptoms you will be fine, if these kids have already been in school shouldn't they shut it temporarily to do a deep clean? I've read that other schools and colleges are doing this is they suspect someone might have it.
I do think the school should be easing your anxiety by telling you what measures are being taken.
