AIBU to ask how long your biopsy results took?

I don’t want to go into too much detail as it could possibly be outing.
My mum has been very unwell for a few months.
A recent investigation has shown growths on 3 organs. Biopsies were taken about 3 weeks ago but she hasn’t heard anything since.
Can I ask if you or any family members have had biopsies taken and how long the results took?

My poor mum is so anxious and we’re all so worried for her. Just wondered if we’re likely to have any news anytime soon 😢

Results should be back by now. I’d give the Medical Secretary of the consultant a call tomorrow to enquire.
The only thing I would say is that it’s unlikely to be anything sinister if you’ve heard nothing.
