Parking

We have allocated parking where I live, one space per flat. Someone has parked in my space, so I have just parked behind them, blocking them in. There are clear signs which state allocated parking and I'm not blocking anyone else. I will move it if they knock, but I'm going to bed soon. AIBU?

That's a bit of a leap. Just says he was at his car and she came over and attacked him. Might have been mistaken identity, he did something else to annoy her, maybe she is just crazy. They are offering her psychiatric help so I'm going with the latter. She's probably known to them.

Sorry for the late reply. When I got up the blocked car had disappeared, I can't work out how! I can only assume they have a patience of a saint and managed to manoeuvre it out by reversing back and fourth. It would have taken ages as the space to move was so small. There was a space free at the side. There was no damaged to my car. I can't really understand it. I had my window on the latch, but didn't hear anything!

YANBU. Someone did this to me once. They had a reserved parking space between daytime hours and I was expected to use it when on nightshift.

One day my nightshift overran and he came in early and was annoyed so did the same as you. As a result we met for the first time, worked it out and became good friends.
