Congratulations to her but can imagine her getting some stick now poor girl. Gosh it's going to be a huge family once this generation have all their kids!!

So what if she is? It's none of our business.

Hoik · 25/02/2020 19:44

Sue will keep going until she can't have any more due to age or because of pregnancy-related damage to her health. It's all she ever known since she was 13yo.

I feel sorry for the children. Some of them probably are going to have massive families of their own because it's all they've ever known too and they'll be looking for the attention and affection they've missed out on. I can also see some of them having no children at all and I'd put money on at least one of the children writing a tell-all book in adulthood.

oomuchtooold Tue 25-Feb-20 18:59:27 In three or four generations we'll all be Radfords...

Oh god. This is really too close to true to even be funny. But it is funny.

Itsonlywords · 25/02/2020 19:45

At least she's had practice looking after her siblings.

AlexaAmbidextra · 25/02/2020 19:47

No surprise really is it? Just following her dysfunctional parents example. Wonder if the family bakery will support her too.

YesIDoLoveCrisps · 25/02/2020 19:47

All we will eat is pies. But we won’t claim tax credits.

Bobthebobbin · 25/02/2020 19:47

Why are they all having babies when they're so young themselves? Sad

Life is a blessing for goodness sake.

Isn't it just.

Lots of children go to bed cold, hungry, and abused. Its is possible to care about them at the same time as caring about children who are emotionally neglected.

All we will eat is pies. But we won’t claim tax credits.

And we'll get a good nights sleep every night because our bedroom door handles will have been removed to make sure we don't disturb anyone.

The kids don’t know any different life apart from babies being popped out. Haven’t the other children who are parents also have theirs young?

LilyMumsnet · 25/02/2020 19:58

Hi folks,

Just a reminder to play nicely. If this thread starts being an enormous personal attack on a pregnant woman, we will delete it. Flowers

Homeschoolideas · 25/02/2020 20:01

It may not be the ‘norm’ to have so many children but that doesn’t make it wrong !
She’s not hurting anyone with her choices her children appear well looked after and loved.

pushymeas · 25/02/2020 20:02

Wouldn't you think that grandchildren would be when they decided to stop having babies themselves?

It’s sad how she’s 18 and her parents are congratulating her on being pregnant so you.
Children are blessings for the most part but at 18. It just makes me sad.

Namechange8471 · 25/02/2020 20:05

Mumsnet really loves the Radfords I’ve noticed....
Already warning posters to ‘play nicely’

CommunistLegoBloc · 25/02/2020 20:05

It sort of does though. Leaving aside the enormous carbon footprint of needless breeding, how can you possibly raise 21 children and give them each the care, nurture and time they deserve to grow into happy and well-rounded individuals?

DoloresStormborn · 25/02/2020 20:07

I will never get past how the all have Sue’s face. Strong genes there!

DodgeRainClouds · 25/02/2020 20:07

Some really horrible comments on here. Much worse people can do to their kids than have a big family!

EmmiJay · 25/02/2020 20:07

'Play nicely'...how condescending Confused
