Hen do tees and leotards

I'm going on a hen do to Ibiza and the sister of the bride is organising it (yet not going as she will have just had a baby).

She arranging tee shirts and leotards for a pool party.

Now I'm plus size, every one else is a size8/10.

Aibu to just say sorry but I'll be so uncomfortable and self conscious that I just don't want to wear them?

I'm aware I'm then going to be the odd one out and draw more attention to myself.

I'm quite happy in a sucky ineryou cozzi etc but these will not be.

The chances of anything arriving from China in time are getting slimmer. And can you insure against coronavirus when you book the holiday?

Krong · 25/02/2020 11:55

Sounds like they are all about getting the perfect Instagram photo - I honestly don't care, and why judge? It makes them happy. I'm sure they will be thrilled to have someone to take photos for them!

Go along, have fun. Wear what YOU want to wear (whilst still trying to join in for the bride's sake).

Who wears fecking leotards except members of crap girl bands? Even they only wear them on stage!

P1nkHeartLovesCake · 25/02/2020 12:02

Wear the tshirt but say no to the leotard

These things are really standard on away hens in my experience, one I went on to Ibiza we have team bride swimsuits & tshirts for the bride. We were all different shapes as sizes, didn’t bother us 🤷🏻‍♀️ It’s just fun with friends

GonnaNeedANameChange · 25/02/2020 12:02

@krong oh def! I'll still be sure to have fun!

Leotards? For like , in the pool? Why? Why wouldn’t she just maybe choose same colour swimming consumes ?
Bizarre ..
Wear what you like op, the fact the sister is planning this awful outfit and then won’t even be going is a piss take , she should’ve asked for an understudy to take over someone with a bit of class Grin
