Aibu to leave a bad review of lady in bank?

At the bank today. I joined this bank maybe six months ago, had been with other local banks where all the staff were quite friendly and helpful. The type that enjoy dealing with customers..

This particular new bank, anytime I go in the cashiers are noticeably ignorant. Like for example, you're waiting in the queue to see them, instead of saying next or how can I help you, they just look as you as if to say 'yeah?' or 'what?'

I'm usually quite friendly and give a small smile to say hello, and then ask my query

But this lady was like 'yeah?' and gestured her finger to come over

I wanted to put money into my bank account, normal procedure, didn't have my card with me as I lost it, standard enough and most places say yep no problem

She threw a sheet at me, sighed, and said fill that out

Then when she gave me the receipt she was just like 'here'

I got her name off her badge and left a really bad review!

People in customer service should not be working there if they don't like dealing with people and can't even crack a smile.

Could you speak to the bank manager or their customer services. How did you leave a bad review.

YANBU. She sounded rude. Where did you leave the review? Have you contacted the bank manager and complained?

Definitely write an email to head office. I received quite an unexpected amount from a bank when I made a complaint about a very rude employee. Got to be worth a shot! She is representing their company. They want your business.

My bank was once getting completed slated on social media because the app failed again. I stuck up for the people in the call centre, commented saying it wasn’t their fault stop giving them abuse etc.

About a week later got a note in the post, handwritten on their compliment slip saying thank you, with a £20 amazon voucher. Bless them.

Yip, good on you complaining OP
