Where in Spain to go?

If you had the choice to go to Spain for 10 nights , or the Canary Islands, where would you choose?

Based on the area, activities that can be done during the day, being close to beaches/restaurants/water parks.

I am struggling to choose between inland Spain and Tenerife/Gran Canaria..

What time of year ?

Barcelona.

You've got the beach, portaventura nearby, lots of fab restaurants and bars, and lots of culture and museums. It's the perfect city.

I really like northern Tenerife too, but not the south.

Competa Spain

Definitely Barcelona

Who's going? Young kids, older kids or no kids?

Lanzarote or Tenerife
Just been to one and just booked the other!

We are going to lanzarote in September.

Tenerife has a great water park. Some hotels give unlimited entry too (Jet2)

Seville for a weekend trip but Tenerife or Gran Canaria for a longer holiday.

Salou near Barcelona is a fun holiday destination if you like it theme parks. We really enjoyed our holiday there last year. We have also stayed in Torremolinos on the Costa del Sol and have a lovely time on that coast too. Plenty to do there. I am planning on booking Tenerife next... feel like any of those three destinations are great for child friendly holidays!
